Jo Carlson is a human resources professional that has served in various industries for nearly 3 decades. Jo earned her master's degree in HR Administration from Central Michigan University. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and serves as a volunteer Board member for the Human Resources Group of West Michigan (HRG) chapter for SHRM. Jo has represented the Employee, Church, and School Assistance Program at Pine Rest as an account manager since 2018.

Jo is passionate about bringing the "human" into human resources and leverages her expertise to provide consultations regarding difficult employee situations. She is an enthusiastic advocate for mental health resources in the workplace and works closely with organizational leaders to implement cultural shifts that recognize the need for employee mental health and wellness programs.
