Join fellow professional women in building for networking and professional development session on “Natural Beauty” - an exploration of wood cabinetry, trends, design and finishes

KSI will present natural wood as a design and construction material. We’ll look at how wood cabinetry and other products are sustainable and beautiful. Starting with the basics, we will learn about different types of wood and their production, and our expectations for each. From solids to crosscuts and veneers, maple to walnut, we’ll explore what makes each unique and wonderful. We will review past, current, and upcoming wood cabinetry trends.

• Explore how natural wood cabinetry and accents can fit with sustainable building practices
• Learn about different species of wood, cuts and grain – review how these affect final product durability and aesthetic
